Enter as a sophomore at one of over 60 U.S. universities

U.S. universities, nationwide, offer diversified majors in more than 600 fields. JCFL's tie-up universities offer not only subjects in common with Japanese universities but also many unique subjects, such as pilot training, to earn a license to fly a small airplane; speech broadcasting study, for a career as an announcer; and study, in such fields as forestry, outdoor recreation, music therapy, and athletic training. Also, two subjects can be majored in simultaneously. In our U.S.A. Course, students take their first year of study in Japan, and enter a U.S. university as a sophomore the next year, continuing on there until graduation from the U.S. university. The first-year classes in Japan are U.S.-style, enabling students to acquire English language ability they will need at a U.S. university. They also take subjects they will encounter in the U.S. like American government, economics, and mathematics. Of the first-year credits taken, 29-49 can be transferred to their U.S. university. An A.A. degree can be another choice in the U.S. (with the first year in Japan, four years in total).
