Four Educational Emphases in Response to Today's Needs

JCFL's Curricula Directly Connect to Practical Usage

To have students enhance their ability to communicate with people from different cultures who have different ideas, by touching real society, will largely expand their future activity range. We believe study should be aimed at direct use of what has been learned. JCFL curricula are designed to pursue these four areas.

Intercultural Study - To nurture international communicators who have deep understanding toward different cultures - this is also JCFL's concept, since our foundation. We train people so that they can play active roles with true understanding toward different cultures, through our lessons and diversified opportunities.

Hands-on Training - Work Experience is a program to acquire, off - campus, language application ability and to experience actual societies and cultures. We train people so that they can work immediately in society through study consisting of experience obtained in various ways, such as training at international enterprises.

Computer Skills - The rapid progress of electronic equipment is greatly changing our life and communication with the world. Students acquire skills to use electronic equipment, such as creation of documents and information processing using word processors and computers, as well as how to use the Internet.

Business Skills - It is very important to acquire business skills necessary at an actual business site. The class provides opportunities to learn diversified business skills, such as filing, document creation, letter writing, customer service, and business negotiations, which are necessary to work in a company.
