Since its foundation, educational activities of JCFL have had three main pillars:

1. Educate Japanese people in Japan (at JCFL)
2. Educate Japanese people overseas through JCFL
3. Educate foreigners in Japan (at JCFL)

The underlying principle for these three pillars is that the education field should not be limited to Japan, but it should involve the wider world and that educational activities should be based on this understanding.
For JCFL, the whole world is the field of education, and educational operation is based on the idea of the earth as one unit.
