‘Minimum Entry Requirements
Applicants must have a high school diploma and minimum of 12 years of education and be qualifies to enter college in their home countries. Applicants must be under 30 years of age as a general rule.

April (2 year course) October (1 year and 6 months course)

*1year(in case of being admitted into the second year class of 2 year course)

1 Beginners level: 6months 2 Intermediate level:6months
3 Advanced level: 6months 4 Research level:6months
Students are promoted to next level one term (6months) later.

‘Class Hours
Mon. through Fri. Five days a week are required.
Class periods are 45-minutes long. 20 periods a week are required.

–Students must arrive in Japan by the day before the Placement Test.
Late arrival over one month after the entrance ceremony may result in cancelation of your enrolment.

–Upon admission, applicants must pay 520,000 (Registration fee, tuition for 1st term and fee for facilities for one term).
–Certificate of Eligibility will be given to the applicants after the completion of the application procedures.
–The expenses for textbooks and school events are also needed in addition to the educational expenses stated above.
–The tuition for 2nd term must be paid by 8th of July ( by the middle of February for the students enrolled in October). The method of payment will be announced later.
–Refund policy: Registration fee is not refundable. Tuition and facility fee are refundable
only when applicants notify us the cancellation in writing by March 31, 2011 (April
admission) and return us some papers such as certificate of admission, certificate of eligibility and so on.
In case of October admission, the same principle is applied. Ask us for the details

‘Status of Residence Application to the Japanese Language Division can obtain a "College Student" status of residence, issued by Ministry of Justice, and formally recognized as foreign students in Japan.

4. Income tax statement (annual income specified)
5. Employment certificate of the sponsor
6. Copy of Family registration

B: In case sponsor is one of applicant's relatives or acquaintances residing in Japan
1. Sponsor declaration(provided by Immigration Bureau)(translation should be attached)
2.Tax payment certificate of the sponsor (annual income specified)
3.Proof of relationship between the applicant and his/her sponsor
4. Letter of gurantee (provided by JCFL)

Qualifications and responsibilities of sponsor in Japan
1. Sponsor in Japan must, in principle, be a Japanese and be more than 30 years old, financially independent, and have more tha 6 million yen annual income.
* If a foreigner residing in Japan becomes a sponsor, he/she must complete with the following additional conditions:
A. That he/she has necessary statusfor residence and can understand Japanese language.
B. That he/she must submit a certificate of his/her alien registration.

2. Sponsor in Japan is required to submit a letter of gurante, and go through the application process between the applicant and JCFL.
3. Sponsor in Japan will assume responsibility for the applicant during his/her time in JCFL in regard to tuition, other fees, and the personal matters such as accomodation and entering university or other institution in Japan.
