イギリスの語学学校でインターンシップ中の先輩からメールが届きました！

Dear all,

I am sorry for the group mail...but how are you all?

I am still doing my work experience as an administrative assistant, at a language school in Brighton called Regent Brighton. People at the Regent school are very friendly and funny. I really like working with them and I like my job here.

Although, I know I still need to improve my English, the teachers in our school have asked me where I studied English. I always answer proudly that I studied English for two years at the college called JCFL, from amazing teachers!!! I am so chuffed and pleased that I had lessons from the top teachers at JCFL, like Mr Woolhouse, Ms Funabayashi and Mr Honma!

I've been having beyond a great time here in England. I've met loads of amazing people, and had many "once-in-a-lifetime-experiences"!

Now this is the biggest achievement I've had since I came to England, possibly the biggest achievement in my life! I’ve always wanted to be an interviewer, ever since I got into British Indie Music, but I thought I had zero chance to interview a band, however, my dream came true. This month I officially managed to interview a band. And not just any band, they are one of the most well-known and popular indie bands out there at the moment, they are called the Mystery Jets!

In order to promote new Cheverolot car, theｙ sponsored the Mystery Jets to do an unscheduled tour in five cities in England, and one of those cities was Brighton. They had a competition where the winner can meet and interview, and I won!

It was utterly the best thing which has happened to me in England!!
What made me feel even happier was the good feedback that they gave me about my interview.
Brighton was the final stop of their unscheduled tour and they told me many times that I asked them good questions:

"good questions”, “We enjoyed your interview”, “ You don't speak English but you asked us many good questions”, “We've had interviews from people who speak English at each show, but their questions weren't as good as yours”.

I was so pleased to hear that. I have often felt I was a bit of an outsider in England and didn't have the confidence speaking in English, but this experience has built my confidence up and made me feel that I was able to become a part of the English community.
